We welcome Dave Grimm, UCL Technology Fund as our guest speaker for part 1 of this MAPS I&E Seminar.

Dave works for Albion Capital, the organisation that manages UCL Technology Fund. The UCL Technology Fund is a venture capital fund. The UCL technology fund makes invests to commercialise technology developed in UCL.

Dave Grimm will:

  • Provide advice on how to develop the broader business thinking about new technologies. 
  • Talk about the different types of commercial funding available
  • Help participants to understand when venture capital may be a good method of funding  for their business idea. 

This seminar is the first part of two sessions, the next session will be the following week on 16 February. If you can only attend Part 1 of this session, please contact Ethne James-Souch for information.
