Private Quantum Subsystems
Speaker: Dr. David Kribs
Abstract: Private quantum subsystems are a basic notion in quantum privacy that have been studied in recent years as a generalization of the quantum analogue of the classical one-time pad. Understanding them relies on understanding special properties of quantum channels and completely positive maps, and, it turns out, related notions in operator algebras. In this talk I’lBestl give an introduction and overview of my work with collaborators on developing the theory and bank of examples of private quantum subsystems.
