What's all the fuss about the GeoBus?
The UCL GeoBus is a dynamic virtual outreach programme designed to bring the wonders of Earth science directly into classrooms across the UK. Run by the UCL Earth Sciences department, GeoBus offers free, curriculum-linked STEM workshops that inspire students to explore the planet beneath their feet.
Through interactive activities and engaging discussions, GeoBus introduces pupils to the diverse fields within Earth science from volcanoes and earthquakes to climate change and fossils. GeoBus aims to spark curiosity, foster scientific thinking, and encourage the next generation of geoscientists.
Since its launch in 2016, GeoBus has reached thousands of students, making Earth science accessible and exciting. We're not actually a bus, but we are an exploration of our planet and beyond!
