Research Summary
As a palaeontologist I approach biological questions with a deep time perspective. I am interested in macroevolution and the evolution of communities in deep time, particularly around mass extinctions, adaptive radiations, and periods of major environmental change.
At UCL, I am using osteohistological techniques to reconstruct growth in extinct and extant crocodylomorphs. I am interested in how different growth strategies relate to a variety of other factors such as ecology, biogeography, and extinction selectivity.
