  • About

The aims of the Initiative are:

  • To enhance the interdisciplinary links between HEP, Astrophysics, and AMOPP staff, postdocs and PhD students with common interests. The key points of overlap are likely to be between cosmology and astro-particle physics (including theory, data, instrumentation and statistics);
  • To enhance the training offered to PhD students and postdocs including in transferrable areas such as computing and presentation skills, for example through peer learning activities;
  • To create and enhance links with major international projects and groups with related interests, especially through our CASPEN exchange network;
  • To create links with statistics and computer science, in particular through the Alan Turing Institute and with the Centre for Doctoral Training in data-intensive science.
