The MAPS Faculty Early Career Researchers Forum is pleased to announce the winners of the MAPS Faculty ECR Forum Awards 2025.

We are delighted to congratulate the 43 offices and labs from around the faculty that received a Green Impact or LEAF award.

“Space ice” contains tiny crystals and is not, as previously assumed, a completely disordered material like liquid water, according to a new study by scientists at UCL and the University of Cambridge.

Dr Guanjie He (UCL Chemistry) and Professor Zoë Waller (UCL School of Pharmacy) have received prizes from the Royal Society of Chemistry for helping to develop safer, greener batteries and for research on DNA structures that could lead to new therapies, respectively.
