“Ceramic property variation as a function of water corrosion at interfaces"
PhD project title:
Ceramic property variation as a function of water corrosion at interfaces.
Briefly, my project aims to understand the effect of hydrogen on forsterite, Mg2SiO4, the magnesium end-member of the olivine mineral series.
I am looking at how it affects the Grain Boundary Character Distribution (GBCD) and grain boundary structure using Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
