MAPS Teaching Interest Network (TIN)
The MAPS TIN promotes good teaching practice throughout MAPS, acts as a forum to discuss teaching practice through peer dialogue and helps staff gain recognition for their efforts.
The aim of the MAPS Teaching Interest Network is to promote good teaching practice throughout MAPS and beyond, act as a forum to discuss teaching practice through peer dialogue and to help staff gain recognition for their efforts. The Network's events are therefore intended for any MAPS staff, be it teaching, academic or professional services, with an interest in teaching and pedagogy.
We use a Moodle website to organise and share our content. Staff can self-enrol on the site with the password 'pedagogy':
Teaching Interest Network (TIN) Working Group
From 25-26 onwards the Teaching Interest Network will be supported by a working group. The purpose of the group is to "represent education and student experience-focused staff in the faculty by facilitating community building, professional networking and identifying areas where support is needed". The current group membership is:
