Do you feel that your mental health is impacted by the challenges of research? Do you feel tired or down because of the research workload? Want to know more about how to keep up your performance whilst maintaining a healthy life?
This session looks at the combination of work demands, the pressure we put on ourselves and the effects of this combination on our performance and overall wellbeing. Dr Bill Mitchell will deliver practical ideas to address the real challenges people face day to day in their work environment. Participants can expect to develop an understanding of how to create a balance between these realistic demands whilst maintaining their energy and work effectiveness.
Dr Mitchell is a highly experienced clinical psychologist, who has run the Mitchell Practice for many years. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen where he obtained his PhD in clinical research and moved to London to complete his clinical training.
