Dr. Tremblay is originally from Montreal, Quebec and completed medical school and internal medicine residency at McGill University. Followed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and additional Interventional Bronchoscopy Training at the Cleveland Clinic and in Lille, France. He returned Canada in 2001 in order to develop a new interventional pulmonary medicine center in Calgary as well as to snowboard in the Canadian Rockies as often as possible. He is a Professor of medicine at the University of Calgary and has been involved in lung cancer screening research since 2007 first as a PANCAN study investigator, and more recently as PI for the Alberta Lung Cancer Screening Research Study.
