I am interested in understanding the role of mechanical properties in colorectal cancer (CRC). Using 3D organoid culture and a number of interdisciplinary imaging, molecular and modelling techniques, I hope to understand more about the mechanical and molecular environment involved in driving CRC development, and how physiological processes like cellular extrusion and wound healing can influence cancer progression.
