Inositol pyrophosphates are important signaling molecules that regulate several critical physiological processes in eukaryotes for instance phosphate homeostasis, DNA repair, immune response, apoptosis, vesicle trafficking, and insulin sensitivity. However, the mechanisms of how these molecules trigger signaling events remain largely elusive. My research interest is to understand the mechanistic insights of inositol pyrophosphate-controlled signaling processes.
