LMCB - MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology

Student evenings are designed by and for students and cover a wide variety of topics including bioethics, careers, and scientific research and communication skills. These are usually evening sessions, with food and drink, and take the form of debates, discussions or talks.
An annual LMCB Christmas party is organised by first year PhD students. Typically, this is a drinks reception at the LMCB followed by a party at an external venue.
LMCB themed cocktail evenings happen once a month and are organised by labs on rotation. These include food, drink, and activities and are a good opportunity to socialise and have fun.
Health and fitness activites occur on a regular basis, including in-house yoga classes and a casual LMCB football club. A running club meets regularly at Regent's Park nearby. For more resources, see Wellbeing.
