Obituary | Mary Price

We are extremely saddened by the death of Mary Price, a long-standing and popular member of our technical laboratory support team.  Mary had worked with us at the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at UCL since 2002 and was an exceptionally hard-working member of the team.  She was diligent and reliable, a stalwart of the support team and of the core support staff, providing technical services so important to all of our work.

Mary’s loss will be felt by many of us who have worked with her over the past 18 years, both on a professional and a personal level.  As well as her contribution to working life at the LMCB, she was a fun and lively presence around the Institute and at our social events, always ready with a pithy comment delivered with her inimitable down-to-earth style.
Our thoughts are with Mary’s family at this difficult time, and she will also be sorely missed by many of us here at the LMCB.
