Giulia Paci awarded EMBO Fellowship
We are delighted to announce Giulia Paci has been awarded an EMBO Fellowship.
In her project, Giulia aims to reveal how developmental patterning responds to mechanical stresses and uncover mechanisms that can buffer mechanical “noise” in living organisms. Using the Drosophila wing disc as a model system and combining genetics, live imaging and mathematical modelling, she will investigate novel interactions between global tissue mechanics and signalling during development and beyond.
