MRC LMB and Saiardi Lab collaborative paper published in Cell Reports

When infecting a cell, HIV appropriates some of the molecules in the cell for its own purposes. In a collaborative research paper published in Cell Reports, the Saiardi Lab and colleagues at the MRC LMB confirm that HIV uses IP6 to assemble and stabilise its main protective structure, thus identifying it as an important molecule for HIV replication and infectivity.
