New publication in J Biol Chem for the de Bruin Lab

A new study by the de Bruin lab, published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, investigates how cells buffer transcription levels against changes in DNA copy number during S phase, known as gene expression homeostasis. Their work provides support for the concept that the mechanism of gene expression homeostasis in S. cerevisiae depends on Tos4’s interaction with HDAC complexes through its FHA domain, independently of the previously suggested mechanism involving H3K56ac.
