Learn more about the Faculty of Life Science's strategic operating plan

The Faculty of Life Science's strategic operating plan (2016-2021) (Document to be updated) includes key goals in the areas of education, research and enterprise, which complement and reference the UCL Strategy.

Some of the key education aims for the Faculty are:

• Engagement in Education: academic staff will be involved in educational and teaching activities and all research staff will be expected to participate in teaching/education as appropriate
• Employability after Education: continue to review and revise our undergraduate programmes to ensure they prepare students for further education and / or the employment market
• Enhancement of teaching environment including space and provide excellence in research/clinical/quantitative skills training and computer-based learning
• Implement plans to improve student experience, in particular with respect to feedback and professional development
• Coordinated expansion of taught postgraduate programmes in Biosciences, SoP and LMCB.
