Module outline:This module introduces students to the scientific bases of speech perception and production, hearing, and audiology. The course links closely with HCSCGS14 (Phonetics and Phonology) and with HCSCGS17 (Anatomy and Physiology of Speech, Language and Hearing). It also has links with HCSCGS23 (Disorder of Vocal Tract: Structure and Function).
