Module outline:This module introduces the use of online referencing software such as Reference Manager or Endnote. A workshop allows the student to have hands on experience of the use of these technologies and to complete an exercise using one example of the software. 
Module aims:To ensure that the student has the knowledge and capability to effectively use referencing software, particularly applicable in final year project modules BIOC 3002 and 3027.  
Module objectives: 
Key skills provided by module:Application of referencing software to create a personalised database of citations, and incorporate these into a written article.
