Module outline:A readings-led seminar series arranged around phonology research topics that are being actively pursued by individual course participants (for example, as part of on-going dissertation work). The bulk of the readings are drawn from the current (including unpublished) literature.  
Module aims:- To facilitate independent exploration of the current primary literature in phonology - To provide advanced training in the construction and presentation of analyses of phonological data  
Module objectives:Intended learning outcomes: - Ability to construct and present analyses of phonological data at a level appropriate for graduate-level dissertation work - Ability to explore independently and evaluate critically the current primary literature in phonology
