This is an interactive one-day workshop on communication tips for improving interactions in your dental practice

You'll be introduced to communication and management protocols to enhance the structure and teamwork within your practice.

You'll also get ideas on how to prevent and manage patient complaints. This will help you increase patient satisfaction, minimise patient complaints and reduce stressful incidents for your dental team. 

This course is run by the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London which has a broad range of continuing professional development (CPD) short courses. These provide hands-on training from experienced staff in dedicated facilities.

Who this course is for

The course is aimed at dentists, dental practice managers, dental care professionals and dental specialists. It will be particularly useful for all members of the dental team who are involved with patient satisfaction.

The course will give you 6.5 hours of verifiable CPD. You'll also get a certificate of attendance.

Course team

Dr. Anna Maria Yiannikos

Dr. Yiannikos qualified in dentistry from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Greece in 1990. She then completed further postgraduate studies in the fields of dental lasers - among the first woman worldwide with such academic training - and aesthetic dentistry.

She has completed an MSc degree in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University, an Aesthetic Dentistry Clinical Programme from UCLA in USA, and an MBA from Cyprus International Institute of Management.

Her Clinical Research Project on dental lasers received a Golden Award at the ISLD Congress in Berlin in 2006. She has been an Adjunct Academic Member of the AALZ at RWTH Aachen University, and has been a visiting lecturer for the marketing module of the Masters Course “Lasers in Dentistry” at RWTH AACHEN University Germany.
She is the leading lecturer of the innovative dental continuing education programme Dental Business Administration (DBA) that is offered with great success in several countries.
On the same subject, she has been a keynote speaker at many international congresses as well as the representative of Cyprus to the World Federation for Laser Dentistry.
