This three-week Summer Studio for students already studying architecture (or undertaking similar creative programmes) will allow you to experience The Bartlett School of Architecture’s teaching and develop your skills.
You'll work closely with tutors on a brief set in London, working individually on core concepts and pieces, which will form the basis of a portfolio.
There is also the option to attend an additional two-day Portfolio Workshop and/or Maker's Week.
Who the Summer Studio is for
The Summer Studio is suitable for anyone who is studying architecture at undergraduate or postgraduate level, or any related course in the UK or internationally.
What it involves
Over the course of three weeks, you'll respond to a shared design brief, generating your own detailed design responses. Your thinking and design outputs will be guided and informed by architectural design classes and workshops in specialist skills.
Supported by highly-skilled tutors, you'll participate in a varied range of workshops to develop and learn advanced techniques.
Special invited lecturers will give talks and be involved as external critics.
Visits to exhibitions and cultural events are organised every week so that, as a community of students, you'll become true Londoners.
The course will finish with a joint one-day exhibition of work. A private view will give you and your guests a chance to celebrate your work.
You'll receive a Certificate of Study on completion of the course.

Both this workshop and Maker's Week are optional extras for those attending the Summer School.
The fee for the Summer Studio are £1,850.
Additional courses fees:
- Portfolio Workshop - £350
