The UCL Lab Automation Network is a consortium of over 40 researchers across the university interested in the use of robotics, high-throughput experimentation, statistical experiment designs, and artificial intelligence to deliver scientific discoveries faster.
Members of the Network are interested in:
- Hardware: The use and development of robotic systems for executing experiments
- Software: Statistical experiment designs and artificial intelligence for directing experimentation
- Application: The integration of expertise from laboratory scientists into the development of fit-for-purpose workflows
The network holds events to share expertise and foster collaboration across UCL. If you would like to be included in our communications please contact Michael Cook, who co-ordinates the network.
The network is open to any UCL researchers and currently has representation from sections including: School of Pharmacy, Institute for Materials Discovery, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Advanced Research Computing, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Medicine.
