The Santini Lab is an interdisciplinary research group at UCL bringing together microbiologists, molecular biologists, structural biologists, bioinformaticians and environmental scientists to tackle challenges at the interface of microbiology, health and the environment.
We welcome enthusiastic students, postdocs and collaborators who share our interest in:
- Microbial metabolism of metals and metalloids
- Bioremediation and biosensor development
- Phage biology and therapy
- Microbiome research
Opportunities
- PhD and MSc projects: We regularly host postgraduate students through UCL programmes. Prospective students are encouraged to get in touch to discuss project availability.
- Postdoctoral researchers: We support applications for independent fellowships and grant-funded positions.
- Collaborations: We actively collaborate across disciplines and are always open to new partnerships in academia, healthcare, and industry.
