Our lab uses 3D imaging, biomechanical modeling, shape analyses, and experiments to link musculoskeletal form and function, revealing intrinsic and extrinsic drivers of organismal form and biodiversity. We study extant and extinct vertebrates, focusing on the evolution of feeding and locomotion and key evolutionary transitions.
