The UCL School of Pharmacy Placement Provider Awards recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the education, development, and support of UCL School of Pharmacy students through experiential learning and placement-based education.
These awards celebrate placement providers who play a vital role in preparing future pharmacists by offering high-quality learning experiences, mentorship, professional guidance, and innovative approaches to placement-based learning.
Awards will be presented at the UCL School of Pharmacy World Pharmacists Day Celebration on 25 September 2026.

Who Can Nominate?
Nominations are welcomed from current students, alumni, academic staff, professional services staff, placement providers, employers, and professional partners.
Self-nominations, peer nominations, and nominations made on behalf of others are all encouraged.
We welcome nominations from all pharmacy sectors, including community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, primary care, industry, public health, academia, research, and specialist practice settings.

Nominees may demonstrate excellence through:
- Supporting and mentoring students
- Promoting professional development
- Acting as positive role models
- Advocating for experiential learning
- Innovating in placement delivery and education
- Enhancing the quality of placement experiences
- Building strong partnerships with UCL School of Pharmacy
Award Category
MPharm Placement Provider Award
Recognising an exceptional placement provider who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting UCL MPharm students during experiential learning placements.
Postgraduate Placement Provider Award
Recognising an exceptional placement provider who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting postgraduate pharmacy learners through placements, professional practice learning, research, leadership development, or other experiential learning opportunities.
