Overview
The Electron Microscopy Facility at the UCL School of Pharmacy provides one-stop, end-to-end imaging services—from sample submission to high-resolution morphology data. Users simply send samples in solution or powder form, and our team performs all preparation, imaging, and analysis.
We support a wide range of research areas including materials science, structural biology, and pharmaceutical development. Our expert-guided workflows enable visualization of surface topography, internal structures, and nanoscale morphology with rapid and accurate insights.
Established in 1977 with the School’s first TEM, the facility has continually expanded and now offers advanced SEM, ESEM, and TEM platforms. As part of the UCL Microscopy Platform, we serve academic, industrial, and translational partners with transparent, competitive rates.
