  • Professor Andrea Townsend‑Nicholson named to inaugural SCW75 list

The new programme highlights 75 international leaders shaping the future of HPC, AI infrastructure, simulation, laboratory informatics and research computing.

The SCW75 celebrates individuals who are helping research organisations translate increasingly complex computational technologies into practical scientific impact. This recognition comes at a time of rapid growth across the sector, with the global HPC and AI computing market projected to exceed $100bn by 2028.

Honourees represent 14 countries, reflecting the global nature of scientific computing leadership, with 31% women included in the first cohort.
