Jon Bridle has been appointed as the new Director of CBER, taking over from Richard Pearson, who has become Associate Director, Research. Many thanks to Richard for his excellent leadership of CBER over the past four years.
Jon joined UCL as Professor of Evolutionary Biology in 2020 from the University of Bristol, having worked at UCL and ZSL earlier in his career. His main research interests are in understanding maximum rates of evolution in response to environmental change in space and time.
