About the course
Interdisciplinary approaches to scientific research are increasingly the main drivers of scientific discovery, new technologies and research funding.
For the best possible start to your biological science research career, we’ve designed a research master’s that draws on world-leading UCL expertise in physics, chemistry, mathematics and computing to accelerate cell biology research.
Learning practical computational skills in image analysis, machine learning and data analysis means you’ll develop the abilities necessary to work in fast-paced, rapidly evolving research environments.
You’ll also get the opportunity to contribute to the world-leading research work right here at UCL, and you’ll be co-supervised by both a physical and a biological scientist as you design and implement a nine-month lab-based research project.
