Computational Biomedicine and Biomedical Engineering bring together computation, engineering, and the life sciences to study biological function and improve healthcare technologies. Using mathematical modelling, data analysis, and simulation, researchers investigate physiological processes, disease mechanisms, and clinical data, while developing medical devices and diagnostic tools. This work connects molecular, cellular, and organ-level understanding with real-world medical applications, enabling advances in precision medicine, clinical insight, and the effective translation of engineering solutions into healthcare practice.
