These comments came from a cross-section of undergraduates and postgraduates who we spoke with in June 2014.

Feedback from our first survey was very positive, including 94% of students questioned saying they would like an online list for all of their modules.

We surveyed students who had used lists for the autumn term in the departments of Anthropology, Political Science, CHIME, plus some in History and Science & Technology Studies. We found that 85% of students questioned found the direct links to articles most helpful, and 91% accessed their list directly from their Moodle course using the reading list link.

We are always glad to receive feedback about the service.

ReadingLists @ UCL and CHIME

Students taking the MSc in Health Informatics at the Centre for Health Informatics and Multiprofessional Education (CHIME) based at Archway have been using ReadingLists @ UCL since the start of session 2011/12. Students taking this MSc study part time spending only a very limited time in the physical classroom each term. This coupled with their work commitment and geographical spread (with many based outside London) means that access to resources online is essential to their student experience. Feedback from the students and their tutors has been extremely positive. Please view the short film to hear some of their thoughts on the new service and the opportunity it presents them to link directly to essential readings online.
