SEW/12/6 - Tribunal for internees opposed to the Nazi system (1939-1942)

Contents: minutes of meetings, memos, correspondence and other papers. RWSW became a member of the Tribunal in Sept 1940 and remained a member until the Tribunal completed its task in May 1941. The Tribunal assessed the cases of those Austrians and Germans interned in Britain as enemy aliens who declared themselves supporters of the allied cause and wished to be released in order to take part in the war effort. Also contains some correspondence and papers re refugees more generally, including Czech and Spanish refugees.
