In the year following Czechoslovakia's liberation from German occupation over two million Sudeten Germans were transferred fron Czechoslovakia to the American and Soviet sectors of Germany. Peace negotiations with the now divided Germany and with Austria continued for several years after the war's end. During this immediate post war period Lisicky was a minister in the Czechoslovak Foreign Office.
