From the birth of the new Czechoslovak state until the Munich agreement (1918-1937)

During the post First World War period, Czechoslovakia established herself as an independent state. She formed the "Little Entente" with Yugoslavia and Romania and also had a treaty of alliance with France. Relations with Hungary, Austria and Poland were less easy. During this time Lisicky appears to have had postings at the Czechoslovak embassies in Paris (1918-1926), Warsaw (1927-1931), League of Nations, Geneva (1932-1936) and London (1936-1945).
