Library and museum closures on Wednesday 15 July

Due to a staff training day, most of our library and museum spaces will be closed on Wednesday 15 July 2026.
Libraries
Due to a staff training day, all libraries will be closed on Wednesday 15 July 2026 except for the following sites, which will remain open:
- Student Centre
- Main Library
- Graduate Hub
Please check our opening hours before you visit.
Library Services
Our Click and Collect, Scan and Send, Library Chat and Membership Services will not be running on Wednesday 15 July. Staff will also not be able to respond to emails and support tickets until Thursday 16 July.
You will be able to pick up books ordered for collection from the Main Library if you have received a notification email, but no new requests will be processed until Thursday 16 July.
Museums
The Grant Museum of Zoology, Petrie Museum of Egyptian and Sudanese Archaeology and UCL Art Museum will also be closed on this day. The Grant Museum and the Petrie Museum will reopen as normal on Thursday 16 July at 1pm and the UCL Art Museum will reopen as normal on Wednesday 22 July at 1pm.
