Library Services and LCCOS venues during the Easter Break 2025

You can still visit four libraries and access online resources during the Easter closure period (Thursday 17 April – Tuesday 22 April inclusive).

Library services
Most of our libraries will close by 5pm on Wednesday 16 April and will re-open Wednesday 23 April, except for the following:
- Cruciform Hub: open 11am – 9pm every day
- Main Library: open 24/7
- Science Library: open 24/7
- Student Centre: open 24/7

The UCL200 building works remain ongoing on Thursday 17 and Tuesday 22 April, and the Main Library will be impacted by medium to high noise levels 8am-6pm on these days. You can continue to access a wide range of online resources 24/7, available through Explore, our online catalogue.
Requesting items
Our Scan and Send and Click and Collect services will be suspended at 5pm on Monday 14 April. Requests made after this date will be fulfilled after the break.
Help and support
Our online library chat service will not be operating during this time. If you have any questions or need more support with using online resources, you can access our Frequently Asked Questions or our online Library Skills training.
Museums
The Grant Museum of Zoology and Petrie Museum of Egyptian and Sudanese Archaeology will close at 5pm on Wednesday 16 April 2025 and reopen on Wednesday 23 April 2025.

Bloomsbury Theatre and Studio
The Bloomsbury Theatre and Studio will close at 8pm on Wednesday 16 April 2025 and reopen at noon on Wednesday 23 April 2025.
