Update: reclassification in the Bartlett Library
10 September 2014
The Bartlett Library is being reclassified into one sequence using the Library of Congress Classification scheme.
This reclassification will make finding related subjects in the library much easier. It also means that for a few weeks there will be a major relabeling and re-shelving process. Some books may be unavailable for a short period of time. Please ask library staff for any help you need with finding books during this time.
Update to the project so far, 26 September 2014
The majority of the project is complete with 90% of the book stock now reclassified to the Library of Congress Classification scheme. We're now dealing with the 3,000 items that have been on loan over the summer and are slowly being returned. Please bear with us as we re-label these items and continue to ask at the desk if you require items with classmarks starting ARCHITECTURE or TOWN PLANNING.
