EndNote is useful for those carrying out reviews, writing papers and theses. UCL staff and students have access to the software via Desktop@UCL. NHS staff must buy their own copy. By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • understand what EndNote is and what it can do
  • add references to an EndNote library both manually and by importing information from electronic sources
  • organise and manage references using groups
  • retrieve full-text papers using EndNote's 'find full-text' feature
  • insert citations into a Word document and automatically generate a formatted bibliography
