Location: Cruciform Hub. This 1-hour session aims to give you the ability to carry out a literature search on MEDLINE / OVID SP effectively and find articles and evidence to help answer your research questions. It will also give you a good understanding on how to search effectively other databases provided through OVID SP such as EMBASE and PsycINFO.
Learning objectives:
- Introduction to the databases available through OVID SP
- Constructing an effective search strategy
- Searching for the evidence
- printing, saving results and saving search strategies
This course is open to UCL students and staff in a biomedical discipline who are primarily based across UCL's Bloomsbury campus.
