In a world of fake news and filter bubbles, evaluating information is a vital skill. In this session we will address these issues and look at how the sources you use may affect the reliability of the information you find as well as the importance of evaluating all information you use for study or research. We will look at practical techniques for evaluating information to ensure you base your work on quality evidence. This session is suitable for anyone looking to increase their confidence in evaluating information for study or research.
