UK Medical Heritage Library

The UK Medical Heritage Library is a collection of nearly 70,000 digitised texts from the history of medicine in the 19th century.

UK-MHL

UCL Library Services is one of ten partner institutions that provided items for the collection, contributing over 2800 books and pamphlets from five libraries with a medical specialism:

  • The UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, Queen Square Library
  • The UCL Institute of Orthopaedics Library
  • The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library
  • The UCL School of Pharmacy Library
  • The Joint Library of Ophthalmology, Moorfields Eye Hospital & UCL Institute of Ophthalmology
