Finance

The Finance Team is involved in each financial transaction (income, expenditure, internal transfer) and so works in coordination with other UCL teams (Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables).

We support budget holders in planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting and any MyFinance user with training. We support the compilation and submission of bids and report key statistical information from student surveys across UCL and the annual SCONUL return.

Purchasing and claiming expenses

Money can be spent with other UCL departments (internal transfer) or with an external supplier. Note that expense claims should be used as a last resort.

Using MyFinance

Help with MyFinance

The Library Finance team has produced a set of resources relating to the most common functions used by Library staff; these guides have been adapted from the guides within the HELP function in MyFinance. For any additional assistance, please refer to the MyFinance Help.

Access to Project codes

In order to use MyFinance to purchase goods/services or to claim back expenses, access to a project code is required.

Access to projects can be provided by the LCCOS finance team by emailing lib-fin@ucl.ac.uk. Please also copy in the budget holder so we know that access to the project has been agreed.
