Panel as part of Diversity Month 2012. Chaired by Professor Michael King, panellists explored issues of body image, dysmorphia, and mental health in relation to popular culture and LGBTQ history. The success of this event reached beyond the academic community, leading to a regular feature in the UK’s most popular mainstream gay men's magazine, Attitude, and an article in The Guardian by Mark Simpson.
