Description
Active learning should be encouraged for both in class activities and outside of the class. Often, learning outside the class is limited to giving students long reading lists to go through before coming into class. Outside the class students can engage in research, reflection and production as illustrated in the design below. Time in class can then be used for collaboration and consolidation

    In groups of 12 with at least one female in each group share your experiences and lessons learnt from the research assignment. Make a video presentation on your group's key findings to be shared with the class. When you have any questions, call on the facilitator of learning to help you.

    In your group of 12, join and present your key experiences and lessons learned in a virtual session composed of your peers and the facilitator of learning. Each group will present their work either by playing their video or through a direct presentation. After each presentation, there will be time for a short discussion and feedback. The facilitator of learning will do a final wrap-up of this activity.
