Description
This is 90 minute session on Friday afternoon for teachers planning to do more blended and online learnng design. They can work individually or in groups of 2 or 3. There is a short prep to sign up to the BOLD course and the Learning Designer, and a short follow-up activity is recommended. The Lycee lnt is a secondary school, teaching in French and English.

    Register on the BOLD course on FL Watch the video in Step 1.1 of the BOLD course, introducing the Conversational Framework. Sign up to the Learning Designer tool and read through the main page, click Start and read about how it works. Do explore the tool yourself, if you wish.

This uses 1000 to represent something the whole class does, not necessarily at the same time, but using the same resource in the same way. It uses 50 to represent the likely number of discussion posts a participant might browse through or respond to, with the educators joining the discussion.

    Plan which sessions you will work on to find ways of improving your students' learning experience. Make notes on how you might change aspects of the way you teach. Could you use wholly online activities to support students' homework and build their independent learning skills? Could you use them to gradually scaffold students' ability to do good quality peer review of each others' essay plans, or drafts, or other individual outputs?
