Support for UCL Open Days

LCCOS staff welcomed prospective students and promoted our services, collections and resources at UCL’s undergraduate open days.

In June 2024 we piloted enhanced support for UCL Undergraduate Open Days, with staffed stands to meet, greet and welcome visitors into selected libraries to find out about LCCOS services, collections and resources. Campus was buzzing with excited prospective students and their families, and our libraries saw more than 5,600 visitors.

Colleagues involved in staffing our welcome stands interacted with over 1,200 visitors across the two days, and reflected on the positive impact on the visitor experience as well as how much they enjoyed being involved. Feedback from LCCOS colleagues included:

We look forward to building on these successes at the Open Days in 2025.
