Given that James Clark's two children were named James Deans Clark and Ann Deans Clark, and that James Clark appeared briefly connected with Andrew Deans' former estate The Deanery in the 1818 Jamaica Almanac, it appears likely that Clark was either the son-in-law or the subordinate of Andrew Deans. |
