Alexander Murray of Broughton

MP (Whig)

Notes

Appears not to have spoken at all as an MP. An obituary notice said of him that ‘he might, perhaps, be called an ultra-Whig’. However, he voted against the Government and with other planter interest MPs on sugar duties in June 1844.
